HISTORICAL NOTES

This painting depicts and O class tram waiting to enter the terminal stub. Another O class tram is already in the terminal and is about to depart.

This terminus was located in Chelmsford Avenue, Botany and was the truncated terminus of the Botany line, shortened in 1952 to this location. The last tram to operate to Botany was R1 car 2035 on the 22nd of October 1960.
